Sell - Trade - Consignment

Have items to sell? Great! Here's how we work.

When To Sell:

You can sell, trade or consign Tuesday - Saturday, 10:00 - 5:00. Please call ahead if you have large items to sell (such as furniture or strollers), just to make sure we have room for them on the sales floor. We do not accept items for resale/consignment on Sundays and Mondays.
Buying Season schedule:

Spring:         February 1st
Summer:     April 15th
Fall:              August 1st
Winter:         October 15th

What We Buy

We have high standards for the merchandise we sell, therefore, we carry only top quality, brand name kids and maternity clothing in current fashion (generally no more than three years old). We buy children's clothing size 0-12 and maternity clothing of all sizes. We love buying unique, handmade and vintage pieces as well. All clothing must be freshly laundered and in excellent condition with no stains or tears. *Please limit your clothing to two paper bags or one medium size bin or one plastic bag per day.*
If your little one has grown out of their sleep sacks,cloth diapers and diaper covers, bring em' on in, we buy those too. If you're a crafty mama and would like to discuss selling your creations at Piccolina, bring in samples - we'd love to see them!
We gladly accept furniture, strollers, high chairs, slings, diaper bags, pumps, books and toys (wooden toys sell the best!) All items must be in great shape, no more than five years old and free of any recalls.
Examples of children's clothing brands that sell well for us: Gap, Picaflor, Gymboree, Hanna Andersson, REI, Naartje, Janie and Jack, Baby Style, Lands End, Patagonia, Zutano, Tea, and organic brands.
 
Examples of children's clothing brands we typically do not accept: Carters, Circo, Curfew, Sprockets, Target brands, Fred Meyer brands and other main-stream discount store brands.

Examples of Maternity clothing brands that sell well for us: Mimi Maternity, Motherhood,  Liz Lange, Gap Maternity, Old Navy Maternity, babystyle. Olian, Posh, Japanese Weekend. 

Also, we do not buy car seats(due to liability) or cribs.

How You Get Paid:

You've got some choices here: Consign, Trade or Sell.

Consignment:
We offer consignment on all maternity items and larger ticket items (such as cribs, strollers, etc.) Make sure your maternity items are in-season and that they are clean and ready for the sales floor - the better they look, the more you make! Maternity items need to be pretty current (the styles have come a long way in the past few years.) We will have your items on the sales floor for two months. After that time, we will add up your riches and write you a check. You receive 50% of the price your item sold for. If any of your items have not sold, we will hold them for you for up to 2 weeks (in our cramped office), and/or then donate them to a very deserving charity. All maternity and furniture items are sold by consignment only.

Trade For Credit:
You can bring in children's clothing from the current season to trade for store credit. You will receive 40% in store credit and to use within 1 year.

Sell For Cash:
You can bring in children's clothing from the current season for cash. You will receive 30% of what we price your items at. You will receive cash or a check on the spot (pay-outs over $20 will be paid by check).
